With the aim of strengthening the spread of Technology and Science in certain regions of the Nation, the Inter-Academy Panel has established the Focus Area Science Technology Summer Fellowship [FAST-SF]. Next year (2021) we will focus on the North East provinces of the Nation and the provinces of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh and the FAST-SF will be for students and teachers studying / working in the districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meam Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.

About 200 organizations will be provided during 2021 for students / teachers studying / working in these provinces, working with scientists associated with the three Academies' anywhere in the country.

A copy of the application format, instructions to applicants such as eligibility standards and a list of scientists / scholarships that have agreed to guide students / teachers to work on short-term projects displayed online.

Applications are encouraged from interested teachers and students from universities and colleges from the Northeastern Provinces of India, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh affiliated with UGC / AICTE / MCI / accredited National Institutions. Application should include:

(a) the application form in the prescribed form;

(b) scan copies of the mark sheets in Class X until the final examination;

(c) in writing (150-250 words) in relation to what the applicant wants to learn and benefit from.

Student nominees must provide an email to one of their teachers or a professional HoD. The Academy will approach them to receive a letter of recommendation in the prescribed format. The candidate must work with the guidelines set for two months at any time during the calendar year even though summer months are selected.

Applications must be submitted by logging in to our sites [www.ias.ac.in; http://www.insaindia.res.in and www.nasi.org.in]. The registration number provided immediately after the online posting should be quoted in all future correspondence.

The closing date for online applications is 30 November 2020.

Details of the selection and compliance of this guide will be submitted February - March 2021. Selected students / teachers will be provided with the appropriate train fares and monthly relations to cover their living expenses at work.

Instructions for Applicants:

A. Normal

1) This program is currently available to all students and Instructors who are studying / teaching in the North East Eastern states of India. VIZ. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh only.

2) The application must be submitted online in the prescribed format. This link is available at both Academies (www.ias.ac.in; www.insaindia.res.in; www.nasi.org.in).

3) You are required to upload mark sheets from class X to the previous test. Please have the scanned versions of the mark sheets (in JPEG format), before you start completing this program.

4) Only 1 application per person will be considered. If more than 1 request is submitted, no requests will be considered.

5) Responses to columns indicated by asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be completed.

6) The closing date for online applications is 30 November 2020.

B. How to qualify

Students

7a) Applicants must learn from the following:

BS / BSc / BVSc (year II only)

BPharm (ages III and IV only)

BE / BTech / BCA (years II and III only)

BArch (years II, III and IV only)

MS / MSc / MVSc / MPharm (Yearly only)

ME / MTech / MCA / MArch (Annual only)

(Included for 5 years) MS / MSc / MTech / MBBS (II, III, IV years only)

PharmD (III, IV years only)

(two degrees) BTech + MTech (II /, III, IV years only)

(two degrees) BE + MSc (II, III, IV years only)

(two degrees) BS + MS (II, III, IV years only)

Integrated PhD (Me, II years only)

MSc Tech (Me, II years only)

Teachers

7) Teachers working in the North Eastern provinces, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh only need to apply.

8) A low percentage of marks is in the core subjects only (e.g. excluding languages) from X std. By the end of graduation (any completed years) it should be 65 percent or more. A small percentage of standard marks do not apply to teachers.

9) QD students are not eligible.

C. Content

10) The applicant must make a written note (in 150-250 words) in relation to the specific area of ​​the prospective recipient and suggest what he or she would like to read and benefit from the meeting. In addition, it may include a test or an idea for the baptismal candidate for whom you want to work but NOT a description of the universe. Writing should not be a “copy and paste” function of any source.

11) do not use special / scientific characters such as Ø Ü etc. As software will prevent you from downloading a program with such characters.

D. Closing application

12) Both student and teacher applicants must upload the scanned forms of class X, until the final test in JPEG Format (the size of each mark
