CDFD, an independent institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Department of Science and Technology, is inviting applications from the people of India for the next temporary opening of a research project entitled "NATIONAL GENOMICS CORE" sponsored by DBT. CDFD wishes to complete the following in the above project.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CDFD WORK
The general terms and conditions governing Advertisement No.CDFD / EMPC / 3 / NOV ’20 are as follows:
Depending on the qualifications, experience and recommendations of the Selection Committee, the selected applicant may be ranked and ranked below the advertised / used range (same group).
This position is temporary and for the first time not exceeding one year. This can be extended / discontinued depending on the progress of the project.
Reservations for SC / ST / OBC / physically disabled / outsourced / EWS applicants will definitely be based on Govt. India rules.
Age of SC / ST / OBC / Persons with Disabilities / Outside Workers / Women Applicants will be based on the Govt. India rules.
Achieving a lower degree will not qualify an applicant for an interview. Applications will certainly be evaluated by the Committee and applicants who will be found eligible will be screened and interviewed in a video conference. The Director's decision, the CDFD will be final in this regard and no documents will be welcomed in this regard.
Any selected persons may be assigned more than once to perform any other duties related to their qualifications, by the Director, CDFD.
Director, CDFD reserves the right to amend / release in accordance with any of the above conditions. In addition you have the right to accept or reject any kind of application without giving any kind of reason.

Important qualifications:
M Technology / M Sc or B Technology with 2 years or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Bioinformatics or related discipline.
3 years experience (and qualifications above) working on data sequencing data for highly consistent DNA sequencing.
Favorite Qualifications:
Experience in managing software packages, genomic information and data analysis pipelines.
Editing expertise in C / C ++ or python.
Experience in the service laboratory.
Operating technology in Unix (Linux) environment.
CDFD Genomics Jobs Type:
Quality Assurance / Quality Control and raw sequence data analysis performed on large DNA sequences and microarray platforms, systems, design and operation of DNA data analysis pipelines closely related to other related functions.
