Defence Bioengineering & Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL) Bangalore, a Premier Institute under the aegis of Defence R&D Organization (DRDO) is engaged in Research and Development in Life Support Systems, Biomedical Devices, Environmental Protection Systems, and Aircrew Protective Systems.

Stipend: Rs.9,000/- PM for Graduate Trainees
Essential Qualifications: BE/ BTech in Biotechnology
- Candidate should not have undergone Apprenticeship Training elsewhere
- Candidate should not have work experience of one year or more
- The candidate should not have completed 3 years after passing the qualifying examination.

Candidates should first register themselves in the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) portal. For registration, log on to http://mhrdnats.gov.in
Duly filled application along with the relevant documents in support of educational qualification, date of birth, caste certificate (if applicable) should be scanned in a single PDF file and emailed to hrd.debel@debel.drdo.in.
Application form can also be downloaded from the ‘What’s New’ section of the DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in). Applications received incomplete/after the due date are liable to be rejected.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be short-listed and selected based on their marks secured in Degree /Diploma. Selected candidates will be intimated through offer letter/ Mail ID provided in the bio-data.

• No TA & DA shall be admissible for joining if selected
• Selected candidates should make their own arrangement for their stay & transport in Bangalore
• Antecedents of candidates will be verified again at the time of joining if selected.
• The offer of Apprenticeship does not confer any right of employment in DRDO.
