ABOUT THE SCHEME:
Department of Technology (DBT), Department of Science and Technology, Government of
India presents new grant opportunity, M K BHAN - LITTLE RESEARCHER
RELATIONSHIP PROGRAM (MKB-YRFP), with the aim of inspiring talented new researchers
continuing their research in the country after PhD. The program provides funding for an independent research grant for young Post-Doctoral Fellows, so that they can emerge as future leaders and undertake in-depth research focused on issues of national importance. This merger will be awarded for research work to be done on DBT-Autonomous Institutes only.
RELATIONSHIP OBJECTIVES
(i) Provide attractive opportunities for young researchers to develop them as independent investigators.
(ii) This will enable young researchers to pursue their research interests in the country and develop a host of qualified scientists from national research institutes, universities and a major new initiative.
WHO SHOULD APPLY MK Bhan-Young Researcher Fellowship 2020-21 - MKB-YRFP
(i) The applicant must be an Indian National and have a PhD in any branch of Life Science / Biotechnology / integrated fields.
(ii) The applicant must not hold a permanent position at any institution / university.
(iii) The applicant must have an excellent record as reflected in peer review
published, advanced technology, patent (if any). Those who sent theirs

TYPE OF SUPPORT
(i) The plan provides a combined monthly salary of R1. 75,000 / - afternoon
(ii) MKB-YRFP partners in addition will receive a research grant / emergency grant of Rs. 20.00
lakh in the year of hiring staff, procurement of equipment, small, domestic appliances
travel expenses and other potential costs that will be incurred for the implementation of the study
a preferred relationship proposal.
(iii) May include one person (JRF / SRF / Project Assistant / Project Associate) under him. Capital machines will be available on behalf of the institution where the nominee and the total value of the set of equipment should not exceed Rs.10.00 lakh.
(iv) MKB-YRFP partners will be eligible for additional research grant and
other schemes of various State S&T structures. of India, as long as the Co-PI is
common sense. However, they can take a research grant from anywhere but only income from
one source.
HOW DO WE WORK MK Bhan-Young Researcher Fellowship 2020-21
(i) Eligible applicants must submit the application according to the proforma set out in DBT accordingly.

THE CHOICE
(i) The National Election Selection Committee made up of the Department of Biotechnology for the purpose of selecting candidates for the MKB-YRFP elections.
OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES

relationship, this guy gets a normal job on DBT AI or finds any connection, he should notify DBT immediately. If so, this person has
the option to take a salary or relationship at a particular time. However, he
may continue to receive a research grant for the remainder of the relationship. If
partners accept permanent position in anything other than DBT AI, you need to exit
MKB-YRFP relationship.
The prize money transaction will be handled by the manager
the institution, which will be responsible for submitting the Certificate of Use (UC) as well
Expenditure Statement (SE) for each financial year.
Each institution will be approved an integrated budget for the number of individuals
for each Center selected. The budget will include the amount of Fellowship as well
Emergency / Research Grant.
The awardees will be the corresponding author of any publication that appears as a result
of research conducted as a result of the award. The counselor and others can be coauthor. DBT support must be properly approved in the literature
(papers, reports, etc.) from research work done under this award program.
The guy will post an annual progress report through the Host Institute.
The center will form an Expert Review Committee that will review Man-made scientific work and submit minutes to DBT and UC / SE Review Committee minutes.
