Innovation centre for ICMR and Bio-Design (CIBioD)’ located in post-graduate Institute of Medical education research Chandigarh India, is a platform to incubate , prototype, commercialize novel ideas in Health Care which are affordable.
There are aims to promote innovation by creating ecosystem with multiple premier Technology Institute in collaboration with PGIMER with following goals
designing, development and deployment of of medical device established in solution and approaches various medical problems.

CIBioD provides exposure to research methodology to researchers, students and faculty of Institute culture innovation and learning as a social responsibility measure.
CIBioD Already applied for 08 patents and 10 IPR under processing stage. promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship programs along with a short term Attachment programme.
CIBioD along with Punjab University and India EU ICT Standards Collaboration project is hosting a 2-Days Training awareness virtual /online International summit.
